VenaSeal™ is an advanced, minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment used to close diseased superficial veins that cause varicose veins and symptoms of venous insufficiency. This procedure uses a specially formulated medical adhesive to seal the affected vein, redirecting blood flow to healthy veins nearby.
Unlike traditional vein procedures, VenaSeal™ does not require heat, multiple needle sticks, or tumescent anesthesia along the treated vein. This allows for a comfortable procedure with minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
By closing the diseased vein, VenaSeal™ helps relieve symptoms such as leg pain, heaviness, swelling, fatigue, and visible varicose veins.

How Is the VenaSeal Procedure Performed?
During the procedure, a small catheter is inserted into the affected vein under ultrasound guidance. The VenaSeal™ medical adhesive is delivered through the catheter at specific points along the vein.
The adhesive seals the vein closed, allowing blood to reroute through healthy veins. Over time, the treated vein is naturally absorbed by the body.
The procedure is performed in the office and typically takes less than one hour.
